The power of Yoni steaming

There are so many practices that i use myself and regularly reccomend to my clients, on a regular basis.
Yoni steaming is one of those tools that seems weird and doesnt seem like it can do alot but it really can!
When i work at markets, its always a mized bag when i start talking to people about steaming their vagina! Some women have walked away from me after i talk about it and some have been fascinated.
How to do it and when not to do it?
DO NOT USE-
If you are pregnant - you can steam to prep for labour but check in with a health care professional when this is suitable
if You have a coil in - as it can heat up the copper
If you are bleeding.
Now that is out the way- this when you can and exactly how you can do it.
Yoni steaming can be used for soooo many issues going on.
The biggest one, is you can use it for premenstrual time and post bleed if you are dealing with heavy and painful periods.
Its also great for those TTC and using for fertility.
Peri and post menopause as the declining oestrogen can mean there is increased dryness.
Also post birth to help heal tissue and healing.
There are so many other issues it can help with, along with PCOS and Fibroids.
How to use-
Get a handful of herbs- I have two blends on my webiste below, i reccomend using the Balance blend to start with and ill link in at the end of this page.
Put the herbs in a bowl that will fit in your toilet - (i know but trust me!)
The easiest way to do this is over the toilet, as doing a steam on the floor will really hurt your legs!
Pour boiling water over the herbs and fill it half way or nearly full and put a plate on it for about 5 minutes.
Remove the plate and place in the toilet and sit over, for as long as you can.
Anywhere from 5 minutes to 40 minutes is perfect.
The steam from the herbs goes right up into the vaginal tissue.
Notice how you feel after and see if your discharge is different.
As always, check in with your body, as if it doesnt feel right then dont do it!
All my clients that do it, say how easy it was and how much calmer they felt.
