f you have ever had a baby, you know those initial first few months are intense, emotional and really difficult.
Running on fumes, a couple of hours sleep and having to care for a newborn and maybe other kids.
Women are incredibly strong but have to hold ALOT.
This is why i am so passionate about supporting women and new mothers in this phase.
Think of me as the cool aunty.
The one that comes in, gets to work by helping out with food, childcare and bringing a basket of nourishment that will leave you feeling supported, heard and held. As well as the beneficial gift of bodywork, in your bed, with the baby, to help bring you back to your body, yourself and your baby.
What does a 4 hour session look like?
I arrive, with my basket in hand, after messaging the night before to see what the vibe is. Tools of herbs, tinctures, body oils, balms and cacao blends.
Im ready to lazer focus on what needs done in the house, washing on, dishes sorted then i come sit with you and gently check in as i bring you snacks and tea.
Every session is so different but it usually will always involve bodywork and cooking / baking.
The bodywork is the magic key to the nourishment.
I help your body come back together, with years of experience and skills in a range of massage, abdominal, cupping, reflexology, rebozo and energy work.
This is where the magic is and alot of postpartum doulas do not offer this.
My hands help melt all the tension, stress and worry and i leave you tucked up in bed, with baby as i go cook in the kitchen and leave you food for the week.
I love doing this work.
I am availble for support over the span of 2/4/6 weekly visits.
And i do offer discounted rates to those on lower incomes.
The areas that i currently cover are :
Edinburgh / Falkirk / Fife / Glasgow
I have scattered availibily August- December
